I am thinking about buying one from overseas (France)..Does anybody run one? Any info most appreciated...

Are you going to use it as a base or in the mobile? All I know about them is what I just searched out on the internet. On the ham forums, they still consider them illegal CB amplifiers. I will say it is biased for SSB operation which most "CB amp's" just have a delay cap.

Will be using as a base amplifier. Mostly on SSB some AM..

It probably would be fine for base use, make sure the PS is more than adequate for continuous use. Don’t volt it, RM amps do well with less than 14V, it is a mosfet amp. SWR will need to be as good as possible as well.

Whats your thought on PS i can hit it with 50 or 100 I have both
Ill be driving it with a ic 7300

The spec says 30A for the top of the scale so either would be fine as long as the continuous amperage on your PS are better than that. IO would also recommend not using the same PS for both radio and the amp together, theory behind it is as the radio transmitting draws amperage and the amp draws, it is possible a voltage drop would cause both to detune.

Ok so my AMP arrived from France in great shape.I ran into a bit of a snag though!
I did not realize that this amp runs on 24 volts not 12.. So now i am looking for power supply and any idea of using it in my car are over!
My mistake…

Look at your profile pic, under it is a column of info, one says "post" and yours is still "zero", make a post at the link I gave you and every post you make, or answer someone else's, will start adding up. after 100, you can add pic's to your post, and some other things.
