I have an Olson RA-530 that uses crystals for transmitting, and has a tunable air capacitor for receive. I just managed to get the receive to come back to life after a re cap and tube swap. However when in transmit mode, the radio produces ZERO RF. I was wondering if bad crystals would have anything to do with RF output?
Thanks

More likely a tube is bad,, if it is a "Keeper" which to me it would be, look for a Sam's Photofact for it.
