Road devil mic
I bought a road devil mic from amazon and when i key the mic i get a high pitch squel from my cb. Can anyone help me?

More info would be great.
Radio, antenna, amp, power running, where is this setup- Mobile-Base?
I'm guessing either you have a loose wire on the mic connector, a cold solder joint, or you have your mic gain up too high.

If it's squealing threw the Talk Back, back off the Mic Gain on the radio and Mic

Hello Mikesuburb1,
Welcome to the forum. Knowing the radio make would help us answer your problem. Try turning the gain (volume control) on the mic all the way down and key the mic, if it still squeals then it is wired wrong.
